14" accelerator coil does anyone use it ?nd. feedback..

Went out with my pal that has the wot that does not work and I asked him is the wot broken. He said yes. But is the coil actually broken or is it that it just does not work. He said that it just does not work. He does not have a cumputer so he knows nothing about the forum and his wot was purchased as a package of 4 coils( all wots) by one of our other detecting buddies. He did not know what to do with it or who to send it to and it has been in his closet for three years collecting dust.I told him what you said about the falling apart and that I would ask you about it. Is there anything you can do with this coil? Thanks JimP.
