14 silvercoins in 3 hours.....

Last outing I used only the 6x8 SEF for finding the small deep silver amongst all the trash. It paid of ,and in about 3 hour I had 14 silver coins and two silver rings. The rings was find in a row, deep but a smooth nice signal. Working it slow was essential and Im stunned how
much the Etrac loves silver.I have been hunting this area a lot with the Xterra 705,but there are still finds to be made.

I had another 12 coins, copper and bronze, not on the image though.

I wonder if the CTX can be much better. It was raining hard, but used some plastic bag and it worked fine.
I must say the Etrac is very easy to use, think its easier then the Xterra, cus to the better discrimination and ID.Yes Im in love with this machine.

That's very impressive. Congrats.

Awesome hunt. I can't expect 14 silvers out of any hunt here in Minnesota, never mind in 3 hours. Truly awesome. Looks like your in a great spot with a great machine and you clearly know how to use it. I look forward to seeing your coming finds. HH -Marc

Always good to see finds from other countries. It's a good feeling knowing there are like minded people around the world who are still free to persue this great hobby! Please keep us posted on future finds. Congrats.

Thank you guys for nice posts!

I have the fortune to have a permission for working those places.Detecting in Sweden have never been a big thing since it is forbidden,so you can imagine how much good stuff it is in the ground.
This place I have been told was a hang around for card players, and in that time there was no tv,people where out much more, compared to this days.
I just wish it was easier to pick up the gold.On day I will go for that dig a ton of trash just to see if I can get some of that precious metal.

You lucky dog - that is like shooting fish in a barrel! Can't wait to see more:super:

Very nice haul! Try the sun ray x-5 coil if its really trashy, there might be more goodies!

Wow !!!!

From what I have heard from two members of our club that have the CTX's. If you have a pounded site that was worked with an Etrac, there is not anything left to get with the CTX! Now mind you, this area is about 100 feet square and only 3 people have hunted it, me, and the two other guys that I gave permission to hunt it. I beat it with my Explorer XS, Explorer XS II, Fisher 1266-X with 12 inch Hothead coil, Minelab Etrac. When I thought I had it all, I turned the other two guys loose on it with their Etracs, they found a couple wheats, now that they both have the CTX's, I reminded them of "our" secret spot. I got the report that there is Nothing left for the CTX's.:crylol: In the past I had gotten I.H.'s, tokens, mercs. barbers, 1 seated dime, W.L. halves, numerous wheats, Rosie's, couple gold rings, several silver rings, 4 Horseshoes for walking on ice.....nge
