I've been looking at the 15 WOT & X-12 . has anyone had any succes with the X-12 are 15 WOT ? Looking for bit more depth bit more coverage in open field. thanks

I've never used the WOT 15 but I love the X-12. I'm not sure why but I just seem to find more good stuff with it. My ML Pro coil crapped out on me (only comes with 6 mo warranty) and I bought the X-12 to replace it. I was able to repair the Pro coil but I'm sold on the X-12 now. It's very well made and comes with a 1 yr warranty. Plus its light for a big coil and is easy to swing.

Try the SEF 15x12 you won't regret it, gets a bit heavy on real long days but you'll get used to it, well worth the extra weight

For comparison check out Bryce's coil field test. I use the WOT, it picks thru and pin points great for a large coil, granted in very trashy areas I have to slow down or switch to a smaller coil .

I really do like the Sun Ray products and had an X-12 which worked great. I rarely used it though, since it is so close in size to the standard coil. I have also use the WOT. It will get down there and find stuff the std. coil will miss. The thing is huge - like the steering wheel of a car. In fairly clean sites, for me, the WOT won out. If you get the WOT get the SwingyThingy too.
