Besides the weight difference what differences have you guys seen between the two coils. I know the larger coil goes deeper and all but I've dug coins at 11-12 inches with the stock coil. I've heard the SEF are much more stable in trashier conditions etc. Just wanted your opinions between the two.

But.... It does cover more ground and does go a little deeper IMO than the stock coil. It is a nice coil to have in the arsenal for those times when you need it. If you don't have a smaller coil, I would get that first because I find it more valuable than a larger one when compared to the stock. At least for me, trashier sites are more common than large fields with deep targets. Just my opinion of course!
