I have a few but would really love to crack the 1700's
I have an 1803 penny somewhere
Its gunna be hard when my state wasn't founded until 1836 though.

This is by far the nicest 1800's coin I have dug

1898 Barber Quarter. This is the nicest silver coin I've found to date. Found it last January.
1809 Large Cent is the oldest US copper I've found. It's in rough shape but identifyable and MINE!

Found this year in central Cali, my first seated and favorite coin find so far!!!

My favorite 1800 coin is a 1800 80 over 79 restrike LC sorry about the picture its what I have of it.

I have 2 favorites. Large cents in my area rarely come out of the ground in this condition and the dime is the only capped bust I have found. Both were found at the same site.

This is my favorite 1800's coin I've found. It's an 1820 JR-9 variety in great condition. I'm trying to think of a cool name to call it for when I get it slabbed (To put on the slab label). The eagle reminds me of the phoenix coming out of the fire (Phoenix Dime?). Are there any cool birds rising from the dirt?

Good luck at your sites!

Kenny

Found this 1857 Seated Half Dime last summer near an old home site here in Ohio.
