1800's Coins & Jewelry And More Kennedy Halfs

Yesterday, I went back to the old Church site where I found the 1837 Capped Half Dime a few weeks ago. This Church was built in the 1860's and was torn down in the1930's.
This time I hunted in the woods instead of on the lawn. Found (a semi key date) 1872 - 1881 and 1889 Indian Cents. All three of the Indian's are in better condition then they appear in the photo's - raining here - had to take the pic's inside. Also found the old Broach (diamonds not real) and the Cuff Link. So far, I've found a total of (9) coins with 1800's dates at this Church.

Last week I went back to the vacant lot where I found the ( 7 ) Kennedy Half Dollar pocket spill last month. I hunted about ten feet out from where I found the seven - and found two more.
Had to hammer the one Half straight - looks like it was hit with a lawn mower. Pretty strange ... how do you drop nine half dollars and not know it ?
Found the 1948 Wheat Cent on the same site .

Nice finds Mark. My best guess on the spill, is someone was haulin' out trash and such and didn't notice. That's the nice thing about a spill....most are oblivious to the fact - much to our delightment!
