Nice IHs and relics....staring out good for this year and may you continue to find the goodies! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

The Eagle is a NY button. WTG!

I just research a LOT, and I only hunt places where finding 100+ yr old coins is a high possibility. I pretty much stay away from places that aren't really old....lol

I really need to perfect my research. I learning as I go, but I will get there.
old plat maps are your friend, I got a 1886 one where I locate homesteads, 1RSH's and churches, then I have a 2009 one where I can match them up and contact the current owner, makes research a breeze! Very rare for a farmer to turn you down to walk around a field

Can I get those plat maps at our county courthouse? Have seen some online from the Indianapolis state library, but not all that good.

I would start there, if not they will know where to direct you. I bought mine at Co. engineer's office, was $8 for both
