Linked up with Bomber John this morning for a short cellar hole adventure. This dry spell is beyond tough now to metal detect and the woods are no exception.Dry powder everywhere and it seriously effects your signals.I did manage a copper however, which turned out to be an 1802 Draped Bust.3 buttons also came up as well as a small buckle.Great hunt with the Bomber!

Congratulations Jason. Glad to see someone else's signals get skewed the drier the soil gets. Thanks for the pictures too!

Way to go Jason. I am now hooked on those LC. I would rather find one of those to 25+ wheaties. The history from these puppies is awesome and you never know what you will get. Like the French 5 Centime I just found this week. Have any of yours come in lower like mine 12-39 or all above in the 45-47 range? Keep up the great work/fun.

The US Large cents ,for the most part come in in the 12/46 range, give or take a few #'s,but the Tokens and the King Georges come in all wild.I dug a 1756 KG last month that came in at 10/42.It was badly worn.

Good job Jason, that is a nice one. I concur with your numbers. American coins come in a little higher than the British coppers.

Great job Jason - keep up the good work ! :beers:
