I did my first real hunt since early June this morning, I went to a site that might soon be developed so after 20 years of occasionally hitting it, I will make sure now that I am satisfied I saved as many relics and coins that I can, since once the bulldozers come, it will signal the end to another historic area.
I have really pound this area hard over the years and the last few times there have really been skunk jobs, but this morning I managed one more Large Cent from the site.
The area found was a field in the 1800's and became wooded early in the 1900's.
It cleaned up fairly good.
I was using my almost 7 year old hard used original Explorer XS with the ML 8 inch coil and using the SunRay Probe..........
