1863 anyone?

I thought I'd take some time and post up a picture or two. Here's one of some of my digs over the past couple of years. Enjoy :)

This box does ID the locations of the finds. I removed the tags for the photo. I don't arrange all my stuff like this, but if it's historically significant I do. In fact, I can get fairly close to naming the regiment some of those bullets may have come from.

Of possible interest is that the items found in the left three compartments there were all dug in a swath about 6 feet wide by I estimate 60 feet long, as though a regiment had paused, in the heat of battle, to fire/reload.
