Hello all!

I was in Boston for work today and stopped at a green on the way back that we have hammered !! It is not very big... City block one way and about 1/2 block the other...

I was pretty wet from the knees down in short order... Stock Pro coil... TTF (Two Toen Ferrous) and working slow....

5 minutes in... Solid 12/41 @ 3"... 1910 Wheatie... Check for friends... nope... Tap the plug back in... Sweep over the plug... 10/41 11/40 @ 7"... hmmm... The wheatie was masking a deeper target...

It looks like a nickel... but wait... its a little bigger... I SEE A "2"... Happy dance....

I've dug over 50 coppers... 5 Colonial Silver coins... 100+ indians... 200+ Silver coins... Hundreds of Buttons, Buckles... but this 2 center has eluded me... so its been 4 years since I started... and I can now scratch this one off the list :)

Here is the out of the hole... Water and tooth brush photo...

Here is 90 minutes later.... (Cleaned up nicely :) )

1864... My precious....

3 minutes later... 12/42 12/44 @ 6"...

Nice 1920 Merc...

Was quiet for an hour or so...

Then came two Nickels... 1925 Buffalo and 1910 V...

20 minutes later... choppy 5" signal that I was pretty sure was an Indian... 8/33 9/32...

I didn't explain that well... The 1st picture is just after a light water toothbrush...

Picture #2:

Cleaning was about 12 dips (or more *shrug* in Boiling Peroxide... and I used the hard plastic thingy my wife uses to scrapt pots to get the hard crap off the back... Had to pick, prode, and scrap it off little by little... It took about 90 minutes.... Then a light coat of Renaissance Wax...

WOW!! very nice finds and the 2 center is amazing. Congrats, must have been a great feeling.
