I don't post on here i lurk around a lot but today i found a 1867 3 cent trime i have a picture but cant seem to get it in focus ill post it anyways.
the date is really hard to read but my son says its 1867

Congrats on a rare find !

Nice find. I'm still looking for one of those.

Way to go congrats again did you find it with the at-pro. Scott

So might be a correction on the date...i did more research and i think this might be a 1852 and yes Scott my at pro found it...: )
I was running in pro mode custom with no disc and 37 iron with iron audible on

"update" yes it's not a 1867, it's a 1852 3 cent coin (we did some research too and corrected the date on the coin) and my gurl took another pic, it's a lot better (she didn't end up going this time hunting, because she was picking up our son from the airport) .. but her Garrett pinpointer helped me a lot as well as our younger son went with me hehe

Unusual find.
How deep was it ????
The one and only 3 center I ever found, I almost tossed it; thinking it was play money !!!

I don't recall how deep it was but i dug down about 8 inches and looked over and saw it laying on the plug i looked at and thought the same thing and almost tossed it but threw it in with my trash pouch and when i got home i decided that i would research it.
Whats strange about it is i live in Tacoma Washington and there is not that much history here so I'm thinking this was someones collection and they lost it.
