Got out today with my nephew for a 4 hour hunt and we had a blast, I've been teaching him how to hunt using my explorer xs, very different from his detector and he is loving it. He pulled out Wheaties and no date Buffalo's all morning I was very pleased with his performance and enthusiasm on every find he was stoked. He didn't find any silver today but I'm sure it's not going to be long before it happens, I let him here 7 times what it sounded like on my e-trac today and I'm sure he's got it down now. my finds where a 1898 barber quarter 1944 Washington 3 mercs 1919 1926 1944 and 2 Rosie's 1946 & 1958 and 2 nickels no date buffalo and a silver war nickel my fourth this year, A copper ring and a old sweet marble i love these things, a token and heart locklet and some crusty Indians. Will post the rest later thanks....Phil

What a nice hunt--congratulations! Looks and sounds like a great time. It's always fun to share this hobby with someone, expecially when you see them get excited about making and recovering a find. Thanks for the story and pictures. Well done!
