1921 D Mercury Dime!

Bryan V

New member
Along with this weeks finds I scored a Rare 1921 D Mercury Dime and a semi key date 1931 S Wheat Penny.
Finds are from two hunts. An early 1900s house and an early 1900s city park.
The Mercs, button, 2 of the IHs and a few of the wheats came from the park.

Those are some fantastic examples, Bryan! You got lucky that they weren't corroded/damaged etc...that 1897 Indian is no slouch either!

Looks like your WA soil is kind to coins!

May want a return visit or three to that house! :clapping:

Looks to be in "fine" condition, should be worth about $100. Congrats!

Wholesale is $350. (What he would buy it for) Retail could be north of $500
EF Red Book is $775.00.
He said they are very hard to find in that condion that have never been cleaned.

Some areas better than others. Most of my coppers clean up real well.
Especially the early wheats and Indians.
I have one park that turns out rusty looking coppers and all I can do for them is scrub them with SOS pads which is my last resort.
Thanks,
Bryan
