1924 Presidential pin

I dug this little suprise about two weeks back from an old home lot turned into a church yard in the 1950's. Without finding much that day I didn't empty the pouch until today after

detecting. I could faintly see a face profile and really had to scrub and dig at it with toothpicks to bring out details, the pin is broke but being bronze it cleaned pretty well.

Edit: Explorer se pro

Congrats on a very nice find! I guess Robert M. ran for President of The United States of America and Burton W. ran for Vice President in the 1924 elections! Robert M. passed away the next year so maybe it's a good thing he wasn't elected President!!!

Just saw a story on Fox this morning about election pins/buttons.... technology has made them a thing of the past. Big collector in NYC was featured, interesting. Very nice find!

Wow, neat find. I found the same pin this summer but the lettering was so beat up I couldn't figure out what it was. Now I know. Thanks

Nice find and great job of cleaning it up!
