1960's tootsietoy

We have been out many times last couple weeks. Most of our hunts are quick and not really "serious" hunting. My 4 year old is often with us which makes it hard to impossible and my 7 year old likes to detect in a very random way, which honestly works pretty good for him. Over the last couple weeks all I have found is about 3 bucks in clad but my son has found 2 wheat's a small amount of clad and this cool tootsietoy car he found today.

It's a 1960's tootsietoy Fiat Abarth. What I like about these is after you clean them up you can usually get the wheels spinning. It's the 2nd one we have found and they both roll after a push. I think they are cool.

Thanks for looking, HH!

P. S. Where do we find you guys at Glen Oak for the meet? I think my son may have soccer practice at 5 or 5:30 but we may still try to make it

I love those Tootsie toys, fun to find.... I don't think I have found the Fiat though.

We have the meeting and potluck at the shelter behind the pavilion unless the Prez says different.

Looks like a pretty cool Tootsie Toy! I've not seen the Fiat either. Good find indeed. :clapping: And also congratulations on the wheat cents your son found. Don't look now, but I think your son has a few up on you. :bouncy: Nice amount of clad too.

You can't miss us in the park......we'll be past the restrooms on the right. IF by chance of bad weather, we'll let everyone know where we'll be. We would love for you to join in on the fun. Hope to see you all there.
