Well, I didn't expect to be out digging yesterday, but there I was. Same old park as yesterday. Sure am liking this weather! First solid hit to be dug was the 1964 dime, so that gave me a little more motivation. Next was a 1944 dime next to the remains of a tree stump. The signal was high and repeatable from 90 degrees, but the ID would not come up. Dug it anyway and was pleasantly surprised. Took a break for lunch and started back gridding a large field I had finished half of yesterday. #200  is a 1926 dime, came in at a weak 10-41 on the E-Trac, I was expecting a wheat, once again, pleasantly surprised. The next 1944 dime was a 09-44 on the E-Trac and I'm pretty sure it was on edge. Last silver was a 1947 dime. Also dug a little over a buck in clad and once again 13 wheats. Funny to get two 1944 dimes and 13 wheats yesterday and repeat the feat.

Have I mentioned how completely SOLD I am on the performance of the E-Trac?

What a sweet park! I have one park locally that goes back to the 1890's. I have hunted it many times for one silver Q and three wheats. I am still trying! Non of the coins are more than 6" deep so I expect others have cleaned it out for the most part. Come on E-Trac, pull some signals out from the depths!:detecting: Thanks for the pics!

What an incredible job, Nick.

If you're able to hunt until the end of the year you may just top 300.

Almost all these finds have come from the same hunted out parks and schools I have been hitting for years. I am blown away by the number of halves and quarters I have found. The E-Trac is just amazing at sniffing out silver coins. I must stress it is NOT about depth! Most of these coins were 3-7" in depth. Even the 1833 bust dime was not that deep... no more than 7". It's all about accurate ID! The DD coil separates the signals very well and the ID is amazingly accurate. I'm not even doing anything special... Pro coil, preset coins mode, multi tones, auto sensitivity, slow and low.

Phenomenal job, Nick! The success you've had is outrageous! I know what you mean by going slow. I got my E-trac this past April and I was hunting way too fast. My coil was a blur. One place I hunted fast like that didn't give up any silver the first time I went there. After a few months I figured out I had to go s-l-o-w to find those sweet high tones. I then went back to that same place and dug two silver dimes. Man, was I happy! The very next time I went back to that same site I managed to pull another silver dime out of there by simply slowing my game down. That was just two weeks ago. So I'm learning. But I'm certainly not in your league! You are the man! :clapping:

Yours results are phenomenal. Its got me scratching my head. Congratulations!
