2 blocks of curb strips, silver indians and more....

Today Kyle (Nooberz) and I started at 7am to beat the EXTREME heat. We hunted 2 blocks of curb strips and we both did pretty good. We finished at 11am, so this was a 4 hour hunt. Not a single homeowner came out and said a word to us, like normal.

I ended up with $4.86 in clad, 13 wheats, 3 indians 1889, 1896, 1906. 4 silver dimes, 2 rosies 1946 and 1952, and 2 mercs, 1919-S and 1938-S

A Navy button, and a token or pin that says Herbert Hoover 1932, on the back it says Medallic Art Co New York.

That takes me to 138 silver, 80 indians and 576 wheats for the season

Once again curb strips paid off again, we had a blast and beat the heat!

Good haul a little bit of everything. If i may ask what program are you using for the curb strips? :super:
just a modified coin program, the strips are pretty clean, very little iron

I found the Hoover pin on ebay, it is a 1932 campaign button

That's a great day of detecting. Alot of variety there.

Always Impressive
Very Thrilling
Seriously, no one comes out to complain?
I am trying to get the courage to do the sidewalk hunts
and with the results you consistently get, I'm getting closer
Thank You again for the example you set :clapping:

seriously....not a single person came out, it is different in every town. But in my town the curb strip is city owned

Hummm! I was wondering how you could hunt the curb strips without the home owners permission. I think I need to research that where I live. I think the home owners would be all over you here if you didn't ask permission first.

yep u need to check with city before u go out and do it for sure!

have hunted them for years and generally they are overlooked by hunters because
usually most have other supposedly more productive sites to hunt! never had any issues
with any one while hunting them!..just sayin'

this is generally correct! city owns the "sidewalk easements" as they are called!
apparently this CAN vary with different regions of the country! i live in new england
the city you are hunting in owns them here!..just sayin'
