Landed a 1907 place.....best I could do after 5hrs (long hunt for this old man). Place is trashy and may force me to learn TTF. Tomorrow I'll slap on the 6" and see if that helps me navigate the trash (iron) better while in conductive (?)...if not, a crash course in TTF. You can see the nice reverse on the one wheatie...notice where it come out of that red plastic thingy....never seen that before, kinda neat.

Once you try TTF and get used to it you will like it. It is just another tool that the Etrac gives you. My hunting buddy came up with a great program and settings for the soil we have out west that we use..really hits the coins deep. Goes4Ever also has a great program on his website for TTF...just don't overthink it and it will come....nice diggin by the way. Shoot me a message and I will send you the settings if you wish.
My settings are pretty close to G4E's. I've tried TTF several times in the past and always switched back to MTC after about 15min. Used the Relic screen. This particular property will most likely have to be hunted in TTF to get any goodies. Had a leck of a time today trying to find spots where the machine wouldn't be in constant null. I usually hunt MTC, open screen with 27 on down blocked. Tried to open it up more today while in MTC and too much going on for this kid..... I'll try some things in TTF tomorrow maybe......
Place will be a real good place to try and learn TTF and other things as the owners don't live there, told me to runamuck anytime, no pretty lawns,etc. I'm sure it's been hit before but with all the iron around I'm sure anyone else had a tuff time also so there should be a few keepers left hopefully..... It's a pretty big place so it'll take some time.

You don't see copper coins come out of the ground with remaining mint luster - hardly EVER! Great finds there!
