Finally after 4 weeks got some silver and another 5 dollars in clad lawnmower hit Vietnam Token and some nice wheat's.

Put pro coil back on been riding sensitivity real hard in manual both silver coins about 7 inches coin ID read 33 at 16 sensitivity would not even pick them up 17,18,19 sensitivity value rose to 36.Ground is dry.Picked up 1919 Merc tonite trash set to low 19 sensitivity manual, jewelry program conduct, highest target ID was 31 target depth showed all the way to bottom on indicator.Went to both ferrous programs read 33 but you had to be exactly over target.Dime was measured 8 inches laying flat actual dirt depth, park grass was at least 4 inches high.If I dropped sensitivity to 17 manual lost this target.

Good info Prep. Thanks for posting. Too bad about mower strike.

I think I have to hunt over spots that I hunted with Safari earlier with sensitivity in auto.Picking up real nice old coins with trash low, highest manual setting you can get away with, disc setting does not seem to be much of issue had deep coins tonight read bottom of scale disc one number at a time until got rid of target at 32.dropped to 31 came in good was 1859 Indian head trying to clean was 8 inches deep.I hunted this spot with safari earlier.Only found 2 coins in 3 hours was ignoring clad and only digging signals at showed at bottom of depth scale other coin was deep wheat.Found really cool rifle cartridge 50-70 spent 1 hour cleaning very carefully with dremel was about 14 inches deep.

I think I'll give your method a try this week as my current site has some areas that seem to be low trash content....Nice rifle round-
