Have a spot that I've hit about a dozen times over a two
year period. Found a 36 merc (with the tejon), a 62 rosie, and 50 wheat pennies!
Seems like a serious imbalance to me.
Another thing I thought to be odd is that only one of the wheat's was in the 30's and
the rest were in the 40's and 50's.
It's kind of like the twilight zone to me. The coins are spread out in an area
about the size of a football field with the majority of them coming from about a 20 yard
circle in the middle of the area.
Any one else have a spot like this?
Not counting this spot the wheat penny to silver ratio is more like 7 or 8 to one.
Think I'll give it one last try before I retire the spot.
