I was in San Antonio at Avis rent a car, just got finished installing some new car wash Equipment, and talking to the General Manger when one of the service guys stepped around the corner and told us. Sure doesn't seem like 25 years ago. I think I still got the front page of the News paper some where around here. One of my good friends father was on the flight suites Investigations team, which he said it showed some of them were alive, when they hit the water.

Yup, I was going South on the Florida Turnpike and was listening to the launch on the radio, Was coming up on the "Okahumpka" service plaza and stopped. Got out of the truck and climbed up the steps on the front of the trailer to service the reefer unit on the trailer. Probably 100 miles as the crow flies, but saw the tragedy as plain as day!!

I sat looking astonished. You know its a possibility but hope it never happens and then it does. Takes a lot of guts to climb on board one of those units.
