The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

On that site the seller claims they are out of the UK? Now I am getting confused.

On his new ebay auction he is claiming delays of shipping caused by unpaid buyers and I quote,"last auction we had ,many buyers never paid on time resulting in delaying shipping times for many other winners and giving the items as second chance offer or relisted,"

How convenient to have all these new auctions end before the first group has time to complain.

The v3 is no longer sold by White's, could they be demos, repaired returns etc? It doesn't make sense to take all the v3's now replaced by the v3i and throw them in a dumpster after paying the raw material and manufacturing cost. Having a liquidation co. sell them on Ebay would be a win-win for
White's, there would be upgrades and new coil sales coming there way and it offers those in that price range to be able to buy a quality detector with "no warranty" Also the repair department could stay busy during there slow time getting these ready for sale.
 
White's HAS been in touch with "alex92899"...and said they can't do anything on this person. alex92899 is NOT a dealer ! ! ! White's said they never sold that many units to a "CLUB".

Packfan_1982 said he was buying one,,, I hope we hear from him to see how it went... Here in Utah on KSL Classifieds there was a V3i for sale for $750.00... it was related to this same bunch, the wording had "3 deferent frequencies you 3 machines in one"... Who else talks like that?

I guess this means that he purchased them from a large supplier. I look forward to seeing the culmination of this.

I been watching this auction since the first 29 was on there, and it looked as he had sold all of them. Then a couple days later I saw them up for auction again. This time more of them. I ask him if he had that many non paying bidders. He emailed me back saying that most had not paid and it was delaying shipping while waiting on second chance bidders. He also said later that the ones he sold had already shipped because i told him that I was looking for feedback from one of the buyers and didn't see any yet. He also has been kinda of testy with me so I am getting cold feet and am going to try to cancel my bid. Auction is almost over and it probably wont let me cancel but, I would rather have a non paying bidder on my feedback score as out money from a scammer. Dang it, i wanted one to!!!
 
Welcome to the forum.

I think you would be a lot better off buying from a dealer or sponsor than taking a chance from an suspicious seller. It might cost you a little extra but you will have piece of mind that it is a real White's product, WITH warranty and support. Some real nice used units come up for sale in the classifieds too at a nice price.
 
If they were real he would be better off not giving a bogus background story of where they came from. He could also have given the guys the serial # the guys asked for. The photo he used is bogus.

I don't think people who bought them will tell us they got scammed. If you bought one you better have the serial # checked with Whites before you say they don't work as they should.
 
Canceled my bid. He also canceled my bid after I ask him to. He said to come back if I changed my mind. Going to wait see the feedback from the ones he's got for sale now. That ma never happen, but if it does, I may take a chance. Better safe than sorry!!
 
Hey Turkeybuck one ding on your record on Fee Bay will not hurt you at all--even if you won the item and didn't pay--happened to me with a buyer and Febay office said one will not go against him so i reposted the item and got more for it --funny how things work themselves out. Don't give up--Good Luck
 
Thanks Arclyt, I will. I had to take a bad feedback once a while back because I made the mistake and forgot to say the lower 48 on the shipping price and a guy from Alaska Won my little gold dredge and wanted me to ship it there because I said in my listing. "USA" only. Anyway, I couldnt just give my little portable dredge away, so I told him I had to charge him more, and he never replied to my email. When it didn't get shipped to him on the final day, and as soon as he could get EBay to except his bad feedback, I got a BAD one, I was a Bad person according to him for not paying the 50.00 + extra to ship my 100.00 dredge to Alaska, No problems. like you say. No big deal unless you make habbits of things like that..Sorry Alaska, I will try not to forget that in my next listing "lower 48 only" mistakes will be made sometimes if a person does anything at all. We will see what happens and I might be passing up a deal, but only time will tell!!! Thanks!!! There is always later.

very soon you will see it, please comply with the shipping and handling times, as you could read ,we must give shipping and andling its time as specified at the auction ok,some people were setting infront of the PC and asking all the time where is my item, this was annoying, we been doing this for long time and only before febrauary 20 a day you can ask about shipping.ok.
