I wouldn't want to use anything abrasive on it since it would then scratch the Love Token. Electrolysis should take the crud off the area where the last letter is located. Whatever you do, I hope it cleans up a little better and if you do get it cleaned up, please post a new pic of it. Good Luck and HH.

Really nice token find, Bryce. It's been a while since I have seen anyone post a love token find like that. It doesn't happen very often.

I have always had deeper, better finds after a good rain, and I will usually not hunt that wet day, but wait overnight till the ground is soaked 2 feet down. A little surface moisture down say no more than 3 to 5 inches can easily throw off my detector.

I had no clue what it was until I had it completely rinsed off. I could tell it was silver...but would have never guessed it would turn out to be what it is.
