3 Silver Hunt

We have had some warmer weather this week and I was able to get in some quick hunts after work this week and found a Rosie and a Merc. This afternoon was nice and sunny with temps in the upper 40's. I went out and door knocked at a couple of older homes but no one was home, so I went to an old spot I had some good luck with last year. It was a slow start with just a few Memorials but then I got a good tone but only come in from one direction. I was happy to the silver ring deep down in the hole. Just before dark I concentrated on an area that I have not been over and it paid off with another Merc and a Rosie. Not a bad week for a couple of short hunts in the dead of winter. HH David

Thanks, I'm definitely taking advantage of the freakishly warm weather, it got up in the 60's here today and an absolutely gorgeous day in Tennessee. But another arctic blast is suppose to hit tonight and send the temps way down below freezing. I was able to get in another hunt before dark this evening and found 5 wheats and another Merc. I hope spring gets here soon for everyone to get back to swinging. HH David
