.925 silver and was one of the earliest targets I dug today. Looks like it got hit by a lawnmower or something at some point. I was going to go water hunting with another detector but some idiot forgot his water boots by the front door so I had to (oh the horror) spend the day detecting with the Gamma. Targets were few and far between but still enough to keep it interesting. Very trashy area and had to work for it today. No nickels today but dug a ton of pull tabs. The ring was just off a side walk about 5 inches down. Key is for a toyota. Little flower is just kids jewelry that broke off of something.

GB@62, Disc@16, Sens@90. 11"DD coil.Thanks for looking and HH guys!

Keep it up capt

Nice find. It appears to be a puzzle ring that has the band "soldered" together to keep it from separating. One trick I found to straighten sterling rings is to use a turkey baster and a wood handle knife to gently put it back in shape. Put the ring on the tapered end and slowly tap it back in shape with the knife handle.

Capt.......you probably have one already....or one on the boat..........those black head hard rubber mallets are excellent for reforming rings. And use wood, as Pop's stated, not metal as the base to do the reforming.

Thanks for the advice on reshaping the ring guys. Appreciate the input. Bad storms coming through my neck of the woods right now and woke me up. Hope you all have a great day tomorrow.
