4.5 x 7" DD Excelerator Coil

Has anyone used one of these coils on their e-trac? Have you done any comparisons with other elliptical or smaller coils? I did a search in this section, but nothing came up.

I have this coil for my ET and Se Pro. It is absolutely fantastic. I use it at least every other hunt, sometimes every hunt depending on how bad the ground is. Depth is great and target separation is absolutely amazing. You can get this coil into the tightest spots and separating targets is incredible. Pinpointing is spot-on as well (to be expected from a small coil anyway). I can also run this coil very hot due to its small size and it runs very stable. Don't take my word for it but this is one coil I will take care of to make sure I have it for a long time. Hope this helps. HH -Marc

Thanks for the reply and good report. I was considering a small coil, possibly something in the 6" +/- diameter, but I really prefer the coverage you get with an elliptical coil. I guess I'll have to be on the lookout for one at a good price.

I fell in love with the 4x6 shooter coil on my White's M6. When I started using the Etrac, the 4.5x7 was the closest thing I could find. Great coil: light enough to swing all day, awesome separation and depth as good or better than Minelab's 8" coil. Can't go wrong with it!

Got my coil recently. Just thought I'd show you the size difference to the stock coil... cute little thing, isn't it? :D

Yes in deed, neat little coil. I'm planning on picking one up. I put a WTB ad below, but at this time I'm still looking, waiting....come on someone has to have one they want to sell.

Cool. Let me know what you think. I really like mine and would never part with it. I'd be very surprised if you don't like this coil very soon yourself. HH -Marc
