4 Mercs in four hours....I'll take it:thumbup:

:biggrin:You two had a good day Bryce and it's cool to see what the Yeti looks like.
Maybe the next trip to the cabin ground will be a better one for us huh?:stars:
PS: I won't be so easy to capture on a camera

Thanks Terri. The Yeti was a hard one to catch on camera.
My next goal is to catch my other hunting buddy Darrell (Deeponedge) on camera. I call him SwampThing:biggrin:

ghost holes...and I was getting ticked off.:ranting:

Funny thing though...the hole with the 9" deep merc on edge could have become ghost hole #6 if I hadn't of given it one more scrape.

Now I'm wondering if I left another deepie on edge in some of the other "ghosties"...or if they were just deep iron??

9" on edge with the pic to prove it....pretty impressive. I too wonder how many coins like this I have left orphanded. Very cool with 4 mercs. Glad to hear that I am not the only one with the phantom hole syndrome!

WTG with capturing the YETI on camera!:super: The only thing missing was the berry stained mouth area but we will take the shot of him none the less.

Getting out and spending time with good friends doing what we all love is what it is all about Bryce and Phil.:buds: Good to see you both got some Silver on your outing and congrats on the Merc on edge. They can be a tricky target to locate and are always off to one side of the hole it seems since the signal is pretty much in different locations when pinpointing.

Again! Congrats to both of you on a nice hunt and hope many more Silver's are in your next hunt at your favorite Park.:detecting: Good Luck and HH to you Phil and to you Bryce and thanks for the great story.

Don't really know where this one came from but anyway...here it is......

Were you using your s.e.f for that Deep on edge merc??I have gotten some deep on edge with my 18x15 sef :)They really seem to pick them things out good.Great hunt thx for the pics.

Bryce WTG i have a Explorer II on the way , On edge to WOW!!!!!!!! so COOL Mickfin

Nice finds. and that is some nice soft looking, sandy looking, soil you have there. Nothing like the soil here in upstate, NY where it is all overburden, lots of rocks, stones and darker, harder soil, salty here also.
