Today's finds. 4 musket balls, 2 fired smaller balls, 1 small brass buckle, 1 cuff size button back. 3hrs and lots of trash....
 
Sweet - hunting around Gettysburg must be a real thrill - congrats on those finds!
 
Private land with permission is fine, National Park property is a no go.

I always heard that local G-burg land owners were either tired of strangers asking to MD, or they had their own detectors, so wouldn't let people hunt anymore.
I guess not !
 
Its quite difficult to get permission topped with every spot has been hunted hard since metal detectors were invented.
