Hello all!

I headed back to the site I was at yesterday after work... I only had 90 minutes of light and some lights on the side to maybe extend that a little...

My 1st unearthed item was a sterling silver penant...

Then out popped the 1945 Washington... I so knew this was a silver quarter @ 6" It was pegged on 12/46 and had that sweetest minelab silver sound...

Next was Mr. 1951 Roosie!

Then another Roosie... 1954

Then 1939 Mercury...

There were 6 wheats in the mix as well...

Happy Huntin all!

Awesome. Keep the streak up!!!

Thanks for showing us the finds Paul. What do you suppose the pendant pertains to? Wedding day, Birth Day, Engagement Day? Wouldn't you like to know the story on that piece of silver...

Those are some great finds for only 90 minutes of hunting! That's a Silver Bonanza! :yikes:

I don't know... but have wondered... My wife said that she got a similar heart from her parents back in the mid 60's and it was signed mom and dad with a date on it... Is that a special date or the date Beth gave it to GEM? Hard to say or probaly ever know :)

Thank for all the kind words... 10 silver in 2 days... I could have never planned or thought that was going to happen... :clapping:

I got the E-Trac about 45 days before the season ended. I had been using the XT70... I am so happy I made the change and sure I have lots more to learn, but I am getting to know the E-Trac the more I use it... I want to hit 100+ silver this year and I'm off to a great start!

I did stretch that to more like 2 hours with a little help from the light on the nearby building... I could not see the pennies and had to feel for the memorial on thwe back to know wheat or memorial... but I did see the glint of silver for the last coin... the Merc... Additionally using the backlight on the ETrac does introduce a little noise into the headphone... anyone else notice that?

Paul

I bought one of those LED lights that clip to the bill of a ballcap for when it gets too dark. I could've used one several times last year. I like the backlight on the E-trac. I only turn it on after I've found a good signal when I want to glimpse at the screen.

Hello Paul.

I've been watching your posts lately, and I must say you have been doing very well, :clapping: and having a great time with your new machine!

I really do think you're going to have a good year, and 100+ silver seems very do-able!

Have fun, and savor each of those old/deep signals in the ground. :super:

Dan! How are you doing buddy? I did ready your post concerning your fibromyalgia and was sad to hear all the pain you are suffering :-( But I have been thinking about you 3k miles away...

Thank you for the words of encouragement... I did finish up last year in a tear with the E-Trac and started out better that I could have imagined... 4 hunts and 11 silver already...

I can only hope and aspire to some of your super posts I was used to reading as your silver streak was soaring week by week...

I'll be praying you get relief from your pain Dan...

I hope you get to hunt again soon...
Paul

Thanks for the well wishes, Paul!!

It means a lot to me. I have not forgotten all your faithful replies to my posts over the years.

My pain is subsiding very slowly. My body has been weakened from my condition. I hope to hunt sometime down the road; just don't know when yet. My body will let me know when the time will be.

Take care, buddy, and I'm looking forward to more of your E-Trac finds!!

HH,
Dan
