5" excellarator coil

Hello everyone,
I got a V3i on a trade last week and was wanting to find out if tou can use the 5" excellarator coil with it.
I don't see a spot for it on the loop selection in the V3's menu.It is for the DFX and MXT detectors.I like
the V3 so far and hope to start finding the old stuff soon.I had 3 DFX's and they are a little bit like the
V3 as far as finding those settings that really work good for you.Thank you , Gary
 
The V3i supports only its own coils in the coil selection. Will it work, Yes. How well will it work anywhere from poor to good depending on the individual coil. With non V rated coils its a crap shoot.
 
I sure won't hurt the V to try it.
