5 Hour hunt gave me lots of goodies today:super:

I always go well out of my way to properly place the plug and dirt back..then tap down the whole thing to make it look like no one was there. I always make sure my holes are properly filled in no matter what the size. It's just too bad some others don't do the same. I know for the most of us do though:thumbup:

Sounds like they need to be sent on their way. People like that are what's giving our hobby a bad name. If they can't fill their holes then maybe they shouldn't be digging. Do you know if the town is going to take action?

ground they should have to pay for it.

It's a shame the world has it's share of folks that will do that and ruin it for others ... but it's a given.
When and if I see this kind of thing happening I try my best to approach the person and educate them, most listen, and some .... are just thoughtless A-holes :punch:

Anyway ... nice finds bud.

Mike

Nice finds! Too bad so idiots are doing everything they can to ruin your fun. I would contact the city and tell them the situation and maybe offer to help repair some of the holes as you find them to keep an ordinance from being passed. Sooner or later you will run across the perps, then you can bury them head first in one of their holes  Take care and HH, Mike.

you post much lately. You are definately right...some will listen...and some couldn't care less. It's those clowns who ruin it for all of us.

the grass can easily die unless you watered it right after you dug - but who can do that unless it's your own yard?

here's a tip (not my idea): carry bottled water with you and pour some onto the roots of your plug. this would be especially helpful if you're detecting a pristine lawn, or under the gaze of a concerned homeowner. my friend claims that his plugs were actually greener than the rest of the lawn a week later. i have yet to try this, but i think it sounds like a good idea. anybody else?

That'l learn ya' to go to work instead of go huntin' with me like you were supposed to. Some of those goodies I popped out could have been yours too. So while you were fixin' "Joe Bob's" radiator...I was out diggin goodies:bouncy:

I do that when hunting some private yards. I carry a 1 gallon milk container filled with water when huntin' the finicky people's yards who are still kind enough to let me hunt it. It definately does make a difference on how the ground looks a week or so later.

HI G, MAN IF I STAYED HOME EVERYTIME BRYCE WANTED TO HUNT I BE A BIGGER BUM THEN HE IS
