5 hours...NO wheaties...but 7 keepers...all silver and injuns'

Very nice finds, Bryce! I know we aren't supposed to be but I am ]JEALOUS!

Thanks GR...but I haven't seen many wheaties at all this year...and might not unless I find the time to road trip more.

These parks within 150 miles of me have been blasted every weekend for the last 30 years. There just simply are no high conductors left at less than 8"...and wheaties are usually the easiest of coins to pick out...so they are long gone.

What's left are the coins that the others missed...and there's a reason they were missed..so it majes it tough. Fun...but tough:detecting:

Thanks Ron. It's either low and slow...or I go home with an empty pouch:)
Sometimes the "empty pouch thing" happens too:smoke:

Thanks Lori:detecting:

There are still some nice old coins left at the beat up parks and other sites...but the Explorer is the machine to pop them out for a person with patience.

Glad to see you posting on the forum. There's a ton of good people here who can really help all of us out.

Good luck on your next hunt

He was more concerned about whether or not I was going to let everyone know what a stupid thing he did.

He can now lay his concerns to rest:crylol:

Howdy Cousin Mike.:wiggle:

Make sure you let me know if you ever get down the St. Louis way again..

Raod trips are a rarity for me...but you never know.

Though it's not strictly detecting related...A few years ago I was parking the car at my parents house with some friends, and came across a big toad sitting in the road. Well, being me, I get out to chase the thing down and harass it.

It didn't much like being held, at which point it pissed all over my hand without any warning. Naturally I wasn't expecting this and was rather startled. I got back to the car and my friend and girlfriend are laughing their asses off.

Apparently I did quite some dance when the thing decided to pee on me..

Bryce I can picture Darrell doing exactly as you described. :crylol: I wish i could have hunted with you guys but the wifey had other plans for me.
Maybe next time she will go shopping on her own huh?

Kennon just slip me a pm and we'll see if we can't meet up soon.

I'm sure Darrell is still picking gravel out of his rear:crylol:

When he gets on line and see this post...he's going to be in for a shock:smoke:

fire back with some bullcrap excuse or reason as to why he lost his balance..or got tripped...or "grabbed" as he put it:cool:

Maybe if he would've passed on the 3 dozen donut holes he ate for breakfast...his equilibrium would have been a little better:smoke:

YOU suggested we try some new approach.
I did as you suggested and look what happened...besides the stupid concrete slabs had metal poles sticking out of them.
I would have been fine if the dumb pole didn't get caught on my pant leg:detecting: and jerk my right leg out from under me.
I didn't see you offer to help a whole he$$ of a lot either. :crylol:
I am not 240 pounds either I am not an ounce over 232.
I would have responded sooner but I was busy picking rock chips out of my a$$ My woman says no more hunting with you unless you want to wash the mud off of my clothes. I am going to take my new name and wear it proudly though. I don't think I have much choice. Swamp Thing huh? okay by me:jump: Again this was all your fault for suggesting a new approach.

AWESOME HUNT AGAIN BUDDY  I WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN THERE TO SEE A FELLOW HIMALAYAN STAND UP AND SHAKE IT OFF IN FRONT OF THEM BATHING BEAUTY'S  SOUNDS LIKE YOU GUYS HAD A GOOD TIME. HH...PHIL
