'52 Wash Q

You know that place I go, and often post finds from? The nice peaceful place that holds some silver? Got this stuff outta there this am, when I hit the 52 q, it was 5" deep and pinged like old glory at 88 on the TID...too high for a normal Q, and too low for a half, so I was not sure what I had until I stabbed it and got a finger on it down in the dirt, once you tip the coin sideways down in the hole, and get it between your finger and screwdriver, you can feel the smooth silver and know right away before you see it! It looks pretty fresh, nice reeding and little wear. I was running the F70 with the 11"dd at 75 sens, -3 thresh, DE mode, DP tones, 1 disc, 1 notch. I am sure even a lower sens would have got it, as hard as it was pinging...I was really there hunting for a gold mens class ring that I figure is there, to try to keep up with some of you guys in the gold department, lots of zinc stabbin on account of that specific target signature... 60 coins, 3.51 into the pot. HH Friends!

Alright Mud!!!! Fess up...you had micro-sensors implanted in your fingertips. Actually, its a sign of a very experienced detectorist. Congrats!!

Congrats on the silver quarter Mud, sure is sweet to find the big silver coins!

Gotta love the silver Mud!!!!....hh rick in mi.

Amazing how sensitive the human hand is. Even with the screwdriver, touching an object under ground, you get to the point where you can practically read the date on the coin!
