600 Head Phones Broken Out of the Box

The left head phone was not even connected when I unboxed it...it rattled around when I put it on my head. I didn't realize it until i took the detector for its maiden voyage. Also, the right ear died a few times...I had to turn the connecting jack to get it to come back on. I'm guessing the entire unit has to be sent back. Anyone else experiencing problems??

As I mentioned, Des...I had to jiggle the jack to get the one good ear it to come back a few times. The wire might be dead or the actual receptacle on the detector may be loose.

Not certain the 600 came with that added 1/3 phone jack cable that the 800 has. Simple phone call to dealer or ML. Obviously if u dont know and dont trust it they may in fact ask for the whole unit. But a call takes all the guessing out of it.
