2 Much Trash

Well-known member
Spent about 4 hours on a steep iron nail infested hillside. I most always hunt using bp mode. But bp was over kill for this spot. Set sens at 85 disc at 10 and 2b mode. There was the usual iron falsing but distinguishing the good tones was a piece of cake. The iron nails you see here are just a few I kept to show. I picked out of this spot many shotgun shells, 22 casings.and other misc. non ferrous targets and honestly don't recall digging any good target that didn't have at least one nail in the hole. It's a rush when take the pin pointer, scan the hole, pull out a couple rusty nails then sweep the coil over the hole and still get a positive signal. I was using the stock 11" coil. Can't wait to get back there with the 5". T2 is a fast, deep awesome unit.

I have an older T-2 so I don't have 2b. What does it do that 2 doesn't do?

It makes the iron volume much lower so you can pick out the high tones better
