Found a beautiful cross and chain with my updated 800 . The chain was stainless so with the gold and silver the numbers rang up like a bottle cap . Glad I dug this one .

Hey you found my cross! I will send you my address.....LOL, great find, how deep was it? After the update I am on a learning curve again on what's below the coil. I have been digging a lot more bottle caps as the tone just sounds so good. Especially the Corona Beer caps they are solid 14/15. I have found a lot of jewelry in the same range so digging them all, but being a beach hunter at least the sand is easy to dig in. I just got a .750 men's ring in the surf line today, first good find since the update. It was only 5" or so down, rang up as a solid 8.
