A Beach Hunt and a short park hunt with my new Legend, having fun with all the different functions

Went out this week to the beach and a short park hunt. I’m getting to know the my new Legend and experimenting with all the different functions. I watched a lot of videos which really helped me to better understand all the different settings, first multi detector I ever used and very impressed.

Nice ring. Great detector. It's not that hard, but still playing with the settings on mine to get it all working the way I want. Also depends on your site. It works quite well. Great at hitting low conductors next to iron with the right settings. Impressive.

Sticking with the same detector and working with it in many different scenario’s is the best thing that you as a detectorist can do for yourself…I remember back when I had my eTrac for about 8 mos, and I thought I was the cats ass !…. I had just met a guy who hunted with an old beat up white explorer that had duct tape on it….He wanted to see how my eTrac worked as he was ready for a new machine….We were in a NYC park ad he walked behind me….He walked out with at least 5 Barbers, a BIG Silver ring, and a bunch of wheaties and merc’s that I missed….I was put in my place, but was told not to be upset because he did the same thing to a lot of other people…He attributed it to a simple case of learning your machine !…What a novel approach ! 😂

Try to hunt with people that are better than yourself….Instead of being jealous of them, learn from them….
