Went out to a couple different spots today!
Boy was the ground soft after the recent rains.
Some places were just right, others water would fill the hole after i dug a plug.
Odd to get two Silver quarters, and no dimes.
Got one 1936 wheat,The Barber is 1900s,The Washington 1951d.
The rest is clad!
Was a fun day to be out.

Best of luck all,

LabradorBob

Nice Quarters.

Glad to hear some ones getting enough rain to make the ground easy to work. Still bone (ground chipping) dry here in central Illinois.
Sure makes recoveries a lot more work.:ranting:

I'd take an odd day like that any time Harold.:clapping:

Two silver and just one wheat...and both silver are quarters...AND one is a Barber:thumbup:

Good huntin' my friend:cheers:

A couple of beauties!--congratulations! Still looking for my first Barber quarter--gotta be out there somewhere. Softer ground does seem to make the hunt a bit more pleasant. Thanks for the pictures and story.

Great hunt LabBob! Thanks for the pictures and a BIG Congratulations on those 2 silver quarters. You don't often see someone pulling 2 quarters out of one spot anymore...in one hunt!
