Spent 5 hours out in the beautiful fall weather today hoping to find any silver I've missed. I had been detecting about an hour when I got an iffy quarter
signal surrounded by trash. I could only get the signal in one direction but decided to dig anyway. As soon as I wiped it, I new it was silver.

It's stamped "sterling"
Sorry the pic isn't sharp but it's hard to do with my cell phone
After a couple hours, I finally had my first silver coin of the day. It was part of a small coin spill
