A few finds from today...

After it warmed up some this morning, I went to an old school that has given up some silver coins lately.
After about 15 minutes, I got my first good signal and pulled out the '45 mercury dime.
Later on I got two wheat pennies and some clad coins.
I later went to another old school and found a clad quarter and a Susan B Anthony dollar coin.. my first one with the Equinox!
My last stop for the day was another old school that gave up a few silver coins recently.
I found a couple of clad coins and then got a quarter signal that did not sound very deep, thinking it was a clad quarter, I dug a small plug and found what looked like a piece of trash that was bent.
Looking closer at it, I realized it was a Standing Liberty Quarter.. 1926.. what a shame.. the coin looked to be in good shape too until it got damaged.
Oh well, all I can do is laugh it off and move on I guess!!

Its a shame that the lawn mower got to the SLQ before you did. I am still looking for my first one of those. While it isn't pretty it is still Silver.

Nice finds that SLQ was a super detailed coin to probably dropped early in its life nice finds!
