Couldn't resist hitting the "hunted out" parks again after some recent success. Last evening I
dug the 1916 and 1936 Mercury dimes and a difficult to find shield nickel(1867-no rays). The nickel was at least 8" deep but rang out loud and clear in the dry soil. This morning all I could manage was a 1908 Indian head and a 1964 Roosevelt dime. Not a bad week with 9 Indian head cents, 3 mercury dimes, 6 Buffalo nickels, 1 V-nickel, 1 Shield nickel, 1881 British large cent and a 14K wedding band.
