A Few More Keepers

Sooper Dave

Well-known member
Got in a couple of nice hunts this week and dug a few keepers. I tried out a new spot on Wednesday and it turned out to be very productive with two Washingtons, three Mercs and the sterling butterfly ring. We got a lot of rain last weekend and made for some great digging to be July. I'm sure that won't last very long tho. HH David.

Great job! What kind of place was it (without asking you to get real specific) and how did you learn it might be a spot of interest?

wow, I would say you found a great spot. I really like that ring.

Thanks Mark. Yeah the ring is pretty but it's too big for my wife or daughter and I don't know if I'm man enough to wear it.

Thanks! This was another old school that is no longer used as a school. I have been mainly detecting around old schools for the last two years. The finds are not as old as when I hunt around old house sites but it's been fun.

Thanks! Yeah I'm always surprised that there are places that can still produce multiple silver coins. I'm sure glad they're still out there.
