A good day of "boarding" and sifting at the incinerate site: (boarding is where you put a board out and look though material dumped on it). We did $60 in scrap copper and brass plus as shown a one ounce silver chunk of cigarette case, a quarter, three dimes, (one melted) a squashed ring, a sports pendant, a 1901 Indian Head and a 1910 Wheat cent. The two of us each got gold rings my friend got a quarter, six dimes, a silver crusifix, and a palm-sized Order of Elks standard in brass. My camera conked there so that stuff is not in the picture. I't amazing what comes up when you have old material and just plain look at a lot of it. Kind of like on "Bering Sea Gold"--get some dirt though the sluice and some gold in the box!
