A FIRST After 35 years. FINALLY I was introduced to a BIG OLD WORN OUT FAT LADY:yikes:

WOW BRYCE THATS A BIG CHUNK OF SILVER :surprised: AWESOME FIND BRO, YOU SCARED ME THERE FOR A MINUTE. YOU WROTE, FINALLY I WAS INTRODUCED TO A BIG OLD WORN OUT FAT LADY, I THOUGHT YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT THE WEDDING WE WENT TO SATURDAY NIGHT

James,

When I first read your comments, it seemed to me like you went a bit out of your way to reiterate that the coin was worn and scratched. Most of us know from experience how badly we feel when we scratch a nice find. The Spanish cob I posted last week was very worn (it's 400 years old and had most likely been in the sea at one point), but none of those gracious enough to congratulate me on the find mentioned anything about the wear.

Best analogy I can think of is something I heard a British pop star say one time about a song of his: "It's one thing for me to say to my mates that my girlfriend is ugly, but another thing altogether if one of your mates tells you that she's ugly." Funny quote

Anyway, I'm not trying to start an argument with you or anyone here - so let's just drop this.....just call me Mr. Sensitive

What gouge? By the way you talking I was expecting to see a 1/16" deep crater half way across the coin.:crylol:

Very, Very nice.

(P.S. I'm jealous)

Nice Seated Half. I wish I had some out of the way places like that to go now. The weather is nice & cool now but we need some rain around here.
It's getting too dry to dig anywhere without killing grass. I hardly found anything good in the month of August. I'm looking forward to this fall & hope it doesn't stay too dry until winter hits.

Same here no offense to the other guy involved but the criticism of your comment actually comes of as the high handed comment in my opinion. Don't fret it! He just misinterpreted you I think.
