Got out this afternoon to a new spot. A school yard that I drive past every day. Always thought that it was new turf, so I never gave it much thought. I guess no one else did either.
Wheats including 1918 and 1910
1942 quarter.
My first ever 2 cent piece. 1864. Looks like it might clean up okay.

Nice finds and awesome 2-center !!! :super:

When those 2 cent piece come out good they look real good.

Great digs G.R. That 2 cent piece does look like it will clean up good.

Looks like there's a lot of detail on that two center. Nice coin!

Congrats G.R....that looks like a nice one too.

Just goes to show you the unexpected thrill can happen at any time.:clapping:

Did you take a while before you figured it out to be a two center? It seems like I always do that, and it is always a fun surprise to find one.
Keep up the great finds and HH - Robin

Thanks Robin,
I knew it was different when I saw it fall out of the dirt. Then I saw the shield and got a nice little rush. I turned it over and saw the 2. Wow! Don't find many of those.
