Decided to try a new site.. I have been detecting on one side of the river and could see the old town on the other side.. I had tried to get there in times past but never could find the exact route to get there.. This sign did not help either.. :lol:

But once there, the old schoolhouse was found among the trees. Unfortunately, the melted metal was well and truly scattered.. It made working there very difficult.

The beach proved to be a better choice,. But there were nails and trash everywhere.. Fortunately, the Deus can handle that trash easily

Got a pile of old Canadian coin

plus a nice selection of U.S.silver.. an 1889 seated dime, a 1900 barber half, a 1918 Merc and a 1952 Rosie
