A Good Morning

Anytime I get 5 silver I call it a good day. For 3 hours this morning I hunted a Closed 1913 Catholic School, that I have hunted several times before.
The one silver is from Cuba, date 1915. Also a Notre Dame Metal and 9 Wheats. The good stuff was all deep and iffy signals. I would like to get the Z6 camera like Neb Trac so I can video the signals before I dig and show the process of finding the coins.

Will the Zi8 do the same thing as the 6? Amazon has a kit with lots of extras for $189. Is it easy to put video on the forum? I have a camera that does video, but the files are so big that I can't send video to anyone over the internet.

I really looked hard at the Zi8. I believe it to be a good camera but from what I saw on the tube the macro wasn't quite the same as the 6. Don't know why. I think OhioCoinHunter Dan might use the Zi8, but I'm not sure. I can't remember what Goes4Ever uses. You might ask both those guys. I believe 219erman or McNickels here also has used both.

Personally this is the video that clinched the deal for me at the time.

Sorry Bud. I didn't answer your 2nd question.

It's not too hard to load it up. I use windows movie maker and piece together my videos for the day or week or whatever I want to piece together in my video. Then upload it to youtube. Once its been uploaded I can add more information (like annotations) in youtube.

I have to say its more work, but I have learned much about my machine by going back and listening again to the target.

I use the zi6, and so does Dan Ohiocoinhunter, I heard the zi8 does not have near as nice macro capability
