On Saturday my son and the young lady he has been dating wanted to drop by for a little while for a visit, so of course we said fine. They came by and we had a nice visit. My son was sitting next to me when he asked if I had any plans in June. I replied that none came to mind, and I asked him why. He replied that he was wanting to know if I'd be available to attend his and Jelena's wedding in Helen, Ga. I about fell in the floor. He and his now fiance have been dating about a year and a half. She is a beautiful young lady who moved to the U.S. from Bosnia. Her father was in the U.S. Army and stationed there where he met and married Jelena's mother and adopted his wife's two daughters. When her Dad came back to the U.S. he brought his family with him. We really liked Jelena the first time we met her. My son is 44 and had never married. He got hurt through the years in what turned out to be a bad relationship, and I told him not to give up the ship. He dated some off and on, but nothing ever came of them. My son and myself like millions of others had to overcome obstacles and trials in our life to be able to land where we are today. I landed first, 32 years ago this Wednsday when I met my wife. This was my third and last marriage. So, Jeremy has finally landed, and my wife and I are both so proud of and for him, as well as Jelena. Much prayer had gone out
for our son through the years. I was afraid if I kicked off out of here, he would be alone, and as I told him through the years, that life is too short to spend it alone. This news was the best news that I have had in quite some time. So, I'm gaining a new daughter in June, and our first grandchild, a grandson in late June or early July. I feel blessed beyond measure. Thanks be to the Lord.
