World War II Pilots God bless them, one and ALL.

There've been many movies and docudramas depicting the Pearl Harbor
attack. Most particularly, the ones supposedly based on fact, showed short
quips of a couple of P-40 pilots getting airborne and shooting down Jap
planes. I never had seen the true story and more detailed info on who these
two pilots were ... and their actions and associated events while airborne.
The you tube site below contains a superb video of that story.

Here's a short clip about two American P-40 pilots who were able to get off
the ground - and score some kills - at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941:

While channel searching, i caught the latest Pearl Harbor movie. Those two P40 pilots were/are national heroes.
They went on to be among the first pilots to bomb Japan launching their B25s off a carrier deck during the Dolittle raid. I believe it was the first time twin engine bombers with bomb loads took off from a carrier. Took some real cajones!!

If any of you all didn't catch that move, it has the best most realistic depiction of that sneak attack on Pearl Harbor IMO. So realistic its as though it was all filmed while the attack was in progress.
